The Birth of “Mo Trill” began in 2018 when Bun came to ATL and recorded a song I produced for him called “U A Bitch Ft. Pimp C” during that session he also recorded 2 verses for my Country Rap Tunes Album that I was working on at the time, so fast forward 2 years later to 2020 when the pandemic hit & the George Floyd protest started, We decided to revisit one of the records from that session which later became a song called “This World” Ft. Big KRIT, Raheem DeVaughn, & Trae Tha Truth. We released this record in May of 2021 to honor all of our black Men & Women that lost their lives due to racism & injustice. The next thing I knew we had 7 songs in no time, that’s when we realized we had to do a full album. We decided to call it “Mo Trill” for obvious reasons but I had no idea that the finished product would have cameo appearances from so many big names. I can’t wait for the world to hear this full body of work that Bun & I put together during these crazy unpredictable times we are currently living in & the subject matter of this project defiantly reflects that.
